The Mattatuck Drum Band is the oldest fife and drum band in the United States with continuous membership since it was organized in 1767. It is a senior ancient band whose members seek to perpetuate the music, traditions, and heritage of the founders of the State and Country. For more info click the "Home Page"

Our History

The band was organized in Farmingbury, Connecticut which later became the town of Wolcott. Its purpose was to provide martial music. For more info click "Our History"
